The Magee-Womens Research Institute (MWRI) at the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine has an opening for a highly motivated post-doctoral associate with an interest in microRNA biology and technology. Focus will be placental development and embryonic growth.

Applicants should have a PhD degree in a biomedical field with 0-2 years of post-doctoral experience, preferably with expertise in microRNA and/or gene regulation. Relevant knowledge and skills include contemporary molecular and cellular biology, cell culture, histology and microscopy, and solid computer abilities. Skills in mouse models as well as informatics are preferred, but not essential. Pay is as defined by the Ruth Kirschstein NRSA stipend, and funding period is for at least 3 years.

For more information and how to apply see the miRNA jobs page.
